It’s a Chinese place from the 90s, installed in front of the Alvalade Shopping Center, where Portuguese is spoken more than Mandarin and the table is set with cutlery rather than chopsticks. That is, if your mother has not yet been convinced of the diversity and quality of Chinese food, this is a good place to convince her. It gained fame by the range of duck recipes - laced Beijing style, roasted Beijing style and special Beijing style (with broth, rinds, skin and vegetables) - but also has good chicken with bread or prawns sautéed with green asparagus.
Perfect for: trying Chinese food in a very Portuguese environment.
Must try: the special duck the Beijing way.
