The locals most prone to Indian food know for sure the Natraj brand, with a popular restaurant on Rua do Sol in Rato. What they may not know is the existence of another Natraj, in Odivelas, even better than its brother in the center. The decor is the same, in good Bollywood style, the place usually fills at lunch and dinner, but it's worth booking the table for the chicken sausages, the paratha (thin, round bread) and Natraj vegetarian dish with broccoli, cashews, tofu and potato cubes in a sweet and sour sauce.
Perfect for: lunch after a tourist visit to the Odivelas Monastery.
Must try: prawns in green sauce with mint, fresh curry leaves, cashews and ginger.
