Time Out says

Amália, Jorge's mother, was already in charge of this kitchen when Maria José, Jorge's wife, arrived in the kitchen. There is no actual menu nor much sophistication, just a few dishes widely praised in the area and farther away. That includes the "bitoque" steak, served in a steel tray with a special sauce and an egg, the beef "pica-pau", the "alheira" poultry sausage or the stewed chicken gizzards with - always homemade - chips.
