Time Out says

Whatever the plan, EMMA is sure to fit like a glove. The restaurant at Praia da Conceição, in Cascais, is both perfect for a snack on beach days and a great solution for lunch or dinner with a view of the sea without setting foot on the sand. You can take the kids, but also go out for two. And it's no coincidence: everything was designed to meet the needs of the area, which is always very popular, whether it's right on the beach, overlooking the Cascais Marina. Anyone who walks there will know that the restaurant has been there for some time, although not in this life. It was the Beach Bar – if there were any doubts about the location –, but in April, along with a renovation that gave it greater brightness, in white and blue tones, it also gained a new name: EMMA. There's octopus salad (€9.5), some lean fish from the garden (€5.5), fried cuttlefish with coriander mayonnaise (€8.5), guillo-style prawns (€9), a fried veal steak, demi-glace sauce with Port wine, sautéed mushrooms and potato gratin (15€), or duck magret, with celery puree, glazed green vegetables and jus flavored with rosemary (14€). The American red fruit cheesecake (€5) is the perfect finish for hot days.
