Carmo - Happy Food

Carmo Mesquita is no stranger to this business. In 2011 she and her mother opened the successful Tartine, in the Chiado, which has since moved to the Time Out Market in Cais do Sodré. Today in Cascais, and under her own name, she has a restaurant with a menu that is designed with families in mind, offering healthy and gluten-free options. It opened in March 2023, and is the second chapter of the history of the Carmo brand, which began during the pandemic as Carmo - Healthy Food, and which is now in the Torre neighbourhood with its new happy food concept. The menu is split into nine sections: from the early birds with selections to help you get the day off to a good start (although they are available all day) to the pancakes, eggs, toasties, salads and, of course, the sweets.
