On one side of this narrow dining room you will find drawings made by musician Norberto Lobo about ten years ago. On the other, besides old-fashioned tiles, there is a cupboard where a library full of references to the Cardoso da Estrela de Ouro is kept. The most recent of those was in the book “Lisboeta” (“Lisboner”), by chef Nuno Mendes; it includes portraits of the restaurant and its owner, and “it says in English that my rissoles and croquettes are the best in the world”, Mr. Cardoso tells us. Don’t forget to check the list of tourist spots in the Graça area, right outside. Mandatory treats: roast kid goat on Saturdays, Minho-style cod on Wednesdays and Saturdays, cod cakes with rice and beans on Tuesdays.
