Sesimbrense belongs to Paulo since he was born. His grandparents, originally from the town of Sesimbra, created the place 70 years ago. From those days remain the name, the family ownership and the location - none of the dishes, though. The "fragateiro" fish stew and the eel stew were abandoned around the time of the 2008 financial crisis, since the raw materials were expensive and prone to waste. "I'm considering offering them again, Ms. Elisa is a great cook." She is the one in charge of of the roast octopus with onions, and the "cachupa" bean stew, that on some Thursdays are served in lieu of "cozido".
