One of the most pleasant places to discover in Cascais, even if you’re not familiar with the sounds of jazz. Here you can listen to jazz, blues and bossa-nova, always live, four nights a week, for a donation that is usually around €8. The venue was created in 2011 by the cultural ONG Jam Sessions, an association of several figures from the Portuguese jazz scene, with a view to popularize jazz and keep it alive in Cascais. There is also a strong schedule of events, which you can find both on Facebook (www.facebook.com/ CascaisJazzClub) and on the venue’s website (www.cascascaisjazzclub.com).
