Justin Vernon's band started out by exploring indie-folk terrains. That is until guitars were replaced by keyboards, synthesizers and a whole lot of samples and effects. Their latest album balances these experiences with the more classic approach of the early days. Aaron Dessner's Big 37d03d Machine are opening for them, a project led by Aaron Dessner, one of The National's creative engines.
