Casa de Calhariz

People lived in the Calhariz area during
 the Neolithic period, way before Christ
was born. This place’s history is full of 
curiosities – Queen Elizabeth II was here too 
in 1957 – and some of its past is still visible. There are archaeological findings, beautiful fountains and gardens and monumental views at Casa de Calhariz. It’s like staying
in a multidisciplinary museum that also happens to be located right next to Sesimbra’s seashore.
