Port and Douro Wine Institute (CLOSED)

A cool haven on the ground floor of the 18th-century Palácio de Ludovice, its interior given a tasteful makeover by leading Portuguese designer Paulo Lobo. Waiters serve port by the glass from a menu of more than 300, from some 60 producers; you can also buy bottles to take away.
