Os Amigos da Severa

"A famous ginginha that is the Best in Lisbon", advertises a small poster at the foot of the counter. Who gave this award? "It was me, why, for me it's the best", says our host, Senhor António, a man who has been behind the counter of Os Amigos da Severa for 40 years – "you can tell me someone else who has been there for so long time in the same place as me, tell me!". Judging by the movement, António will not be able to retire anytime soon. The ginginha, at €1.20 a glass, is what comes out the most. But there are also snacks (will a boiled egg?), beer and wine.
