Bar da Odete (CLOSED)

Odete Cascais spent years preaching about it on Time Out’s pages: there is no better place 
in the world to drink fantastic wines affordably. Her conviction led to the birth of a by-the-glass wine bar in the heart of Time Out Market and, later, a wine house
 in Restauradores. The place is Portuguese through and through, from the cellar to the decoration materials, including every single ingredient used for sandwiches and cheese and charcuterie boards. Whenever our Odete (it’s inevitable, she’s still part of the family) brings out a new menu, we are unsurprised by what we find: a careful selection and well- informed service. The deals are hard to beat in the 4€ to 8€ range, but from those to the Quinta do Vale Meão (35€), all wines will be served as they should be served, by the glass, and at all times.
