Built in 1945, reconverted and rehabilitated after the fire which, in 1985, destroyed a significant part of the building, it’s a multifaceted and fully equipped space, strongly representative and rooted in Sintra’s social and cultural life. Its diverse programming includes the prestigious Sintra Festival, cinema showings, theatre, music, opera and dance shows, as well as congresses and conferences and other cultural events.
