Officially kicking off next year's festival season, Live At Leeds will be returning on 30 April 2016 for its tenth anniversary and is already offering us something to get exited about, by revealing the first collection of acts set to take over the city.

Performing at a multitude of venues over the bank holiday weekend, Live At Leeds has long been one of the best places to see some of music's most exciting breakthrough acts, having played host to the likes of Bastille, Clean Bandit, Wild Beasts, Bombay Bicycle Club and Rudimental in the past.

For 2016, the first wave of artists revealed include chart topper Jess Glynne, Liverpool four piece Circa Waves and indie legends We Are Scientists. They will be joined by hip hop artist Rat Boy, Southampton rockers Band of Skulls, indie pop group Clean Cut Kid and blues rock singer Barns Courtney.

With plans to be the biggest festival to date, Live At Leeds has also announced a new partnership with Leeds Digital Festival, an event taking place in the five days prior.

This joining of forces (encouraged by the likes of popular music and media conference SxSW), means that the festival can now boast an exciting digital programme, as well reach a far larger potential audience.

More names for Live At Leeds and further details on the digital programme will be revealed soon.

Ticket for the festival are on sale now at 'tier one' prices until the end of the year. They can be bought online, or as physical tickets from places such as Jumbo Records and Crash Records.

Live At Leeds, Saturday April 30, 2016. Various venues. Find more information here.
