Prize: Tickets to Universal Studios Singapore's Halloween Horror Nights 5 (worth RM204 each).
Live your worst nightmare in the greatest way this Halloween at Universal Studios Singapore. Halloween Horror Nights 5 features a new chapter of 'True Singapore Ghost Stories' inspired by horror stories on the train, an epidemic-stricken HDB block, a hell house with paper effigies as well as the event's first ever dark house: you have to feel your way through a fortress in darkness. With a theme that surrounds the rise of the blood moon, Singaporeans really know how to turn up the horror.
There will be four haunted houses and three scare zones throughout the theme park for Halloween Horror Nights 5: 'True Singapore Ghost Stories: The MRT', 'Siloso Gateway Block 50', 'Hell House', 'Tunnel People', 'Hungry Ghosts', 'conTERMINATED' and 'The Invaders'.
Top horror house 'True Singapore Ghost Stories: The MRT' has Russell Lee's sinister marks all over it. The Singaporean ghost writer populates his haunted house based on paranormal sightings on the train, so don't be surprised to see a pontianak or toyol lurking within.
Over at 'Siloso Gateway Block 50', a virus outbreak turns mild-mannered neighbourhood residents into flesh-eating vultures. The gates of hell open at 'Hell House' as paper effigies rule the Underworld. If you're afraid of things that go bump in the night, the event's first dark house, 'Tunnel People', is not for you.
As for the scare zones, 'Hungry Ghosts' is a hidden village with villagers cursed to go through rites and prayers every day, 'conTERMINATED' has diseased inhabitants fighting for their survival, while 'The Invaders' sees extraterrestrials taking over the planet.
Halloween Horror Nights 5 happens on select dates in October: 2-3, 9-11, 16-18, 23-25, 29-31. For back stories of the haunted houses and scare zones, visit www.halloweenhorrornights.com.sg
