A genial ploy to sell you pewter? Perhaps, but the Visitor Centre of the Royal Selangor brand is actually much more interesting than it sounds. Showcasing the history of the Royal Selangor brand and an insight to pewter making, it's one of the better tourist facilities in KL. Key attractions include a guided tour of their pewter factory and don't miss the 'The School of Hard Knocks', an aptly named workshop where you can get first-hand experience in working with pewter.
