Also known as Taman Wetland, the park is the largest constructed freshwater wetlands in the tropics and boasts a 138-hectare Wetland Park and sprawling 1,977-hectare wetland areas. Several species of local marshland birds and water birds like the little egret, green heron and cinnamon bittern have been spotted here, so bring binoculars if you plan on bird-watching. If you're no ornithologist, go cycling, fishing or join technical briefings on the wetlands, and research and plant collection.
