Mak Yong and What It Means

The ancient and traditional dance-theatre of mak yong will be discussed in this session with Professor Dato' Dr Ghulam-Sarwar Yousof, an international leading specialist on traditional Southeast Asian theatre. He will be discussing the origins and significance of this particular art form, as well as how to preserve it and ensure its survival for the future.
