Time Out says

If you're around KL during the Lunar New Year, the annual celebrations at Thean Hou Temple are not to be missed. This six-tiered temple is one of the largest in Southeast Asia and pays homage to three main deities – Thean Hou (Heavenly Mother), Guan Yin (Goddess of Mercy) and Shui Wei Sheng Niang (Goddess of the Waterfront). This year’s festivities will welcome the Year of the Pig with acrobatic and cultural shows, installations, a bonsai exhibition and most interestingly performances revolving around a traditional character aptly named Pigsy. One of the shows is titled ‘Gallant Pigsy Saves The Beauty’! And of course, we can't forget the lion dances.
