Judo is not only a physical sport but a game of wit: both opponents try to outsmart each other with a game plan before executing physical techniques to take one down. The sport – encompassing agility, coordination, endurance, strength and techniques – isn’t easy to master, but do it right and it’ll promote muscle tone and definition. Even if you don’t want to take part in combat, these judo moves can still be done as conditioning and strength-building exercises. David Goh son of Mahaguru Goh (Judo Academy KL) teaches the Judo class here.
