Yes, we’ve written about Mitsui Outlet Park before – but we haven’t waxed lyrical about Zalora opening its doors at Mitsui Outlet Park yet, have we? Recently, Zalora took the long-awaited, much-celebrated leap into bricks and mortar (pop-up stores don’t count, okay?) – and what a leap it was, as it wasn’t just regular ol’ bricks and mortar, but an outlet store. In other words: 3,000 sq ft of brightly lit, wood-accented retail space, bursting with an extensive selection of off-season brands and products at very, very good discounts.
On our visit, we spotted shift dresses, tops, trousers mostly of the minimalist aesthetic (there was a grey kimono top we almost bought, but didn’t, and now we regret all our life choices); accessories such as belts, bracelets, necklaces, sunnies, and shoulder bags; and, best of all, row after row after row of killer boots, slinky, strappy heels, platforms, slip-ons, and oxfords, all arranged by size. Tip: if you’re a size 37, you’re in luck, because there definitely were more 37s than there were other sizes.
The selection is none too shabby for men as well, by the way. Think button-ups, casual T-shirts, jackets, and printed short-sleeves; men’s shoes share the same space as women’s, also arranged by size. Also check out the bargain bins. On our visit, everything in the bargain bins went for RM15, including shoes.
Just in case your shopping thirst isn’t satiated enough by all the things you can touch and try in-store, the outlet is equipped with three iMacs with high-speed internet, so you can browse through over thousands of new products on zalora.com.my and make online buys, too.
