Tired of furniture that looks good off the rack but ends up in tatters year later? Thin & Bold’s collections are made from sustainable French oak and Indonesian teak, ensuring not only a design that’s as timeless as nature itself, but sturdy enough to last for decades. This, combined with solid metals such as recycled sand-cast iron, guarantees furniture that is both sustainable and long-lasting. But the true magic is in the way Thin & Bold finishes off each piece, with a process that allows the colour to penetrate deep into the wood, ensuring that it won’t fade over time. The grain pattern of the timber is also preserved to create a unique look for each piece of furniture. For the topcoat, hardwearing finishing oils are preferred over lacquers, which give the pieces a more natural look, offer good water and scruff resistance, don’t chip or flake, and is easy to repair.
