Banish all expectations of Michelin-starred Chef Sukiyabashi Jiro here. Operated by Super Dining Group (of the excellent Sushi Zanmai and Rakuzen), Sushi Jiro doesn’t attempt to live up to Michelin-level expectations. Instead, it’s good at what it is – fresh, fairly-priced sushi. Priced at RM3.48 for all plates (which is all blue, by the way), conveyor-belt sushi sessions are made easier with this new pricing scheme. Bear in mind that you won’t get incredible cuts of fish and some plates (scallops, for example) come with a single piece of sushi instead of two, but for good and cheap sushi? Sushi Jiro makes the cut.
