Housed along the charming row of pre-war colonial houses in Jalan Galloway (a few steps away from VCR), Sarang Cookery specialises in Peranakan, Malay and Chitty dishes. While the menu is somewhat dotted with hits or misses, worthy dishes include the nasi goreng kerabu, chicken sioh and cincalok fried eggs. Painted in buttercup yellow with bright blue walls, the quaint restaurant (by the same owners behind Sarang Vacation Homes) also offers cooking classes.
