Topping the list of every visitor to Klang, Restoran Boston Baru (more affectionately known as ‘Boston’) is known for its steamed lala in chinese wine-rich superior broth, wok hei-laden hokkien mee and notoriously long queues. Queues have been known to form as early as 4.30pm, an hour before the restaurant opens for business. Dining here is a trial, but quite the experience: come as early as possible to secure a table, or resign yourself to fate by sitting somewhere further down the road by the five foot way. Be prepared to wait for your order (some card games might do the trick), and have a light meal before paying Boston a visit. Trust us: those lalas are worth the wait.
