QingHeGu, unlike most other Korean barbecue joints in town, actually does take reservations, though queues are typical on weekends (for those trying their luck). Here, well-trained staff grill beef and pork ribs, pork belly, pork roast, sliced beef, and other specialised cuts directly on the charcoal fire at the table. It all comes with a generous assortment of authentic banchan, including simmered pumpkin, steamed marinated eggplant, and several types of kimchi. Don’t skimp on the dolsot bibimbap, topped with an egg yolk, minced meat, sautéed and seasoned vegetables, served in a sizzling hot stone bowl. |
