This spacious restaurant dishes up modern Italian cuisine and offers a stylish but family-friendly ambience. Although the menu brings together a number of premium ingredients such as lobster, truffles (plus the now ubiquitous truffle oil) and foie gras, our overall impression is that this is casual, comfort food. And of course, with a name like Pizzolo, the restaurant serves up some decent pizzas with interesting toppings like roasted lamb shoulder or sweet cranberry jam and savoury cheese. They even have their own wine and cocktail list that's predominantly Italian but you'll be surprised with their curated list. The kids are certainly not forgotten either. The concise kids’ menu sticks to tried-and-tested tummy pleasers like mac ‘n’ cheese, fish ‘n’ chips, spaghetti with meatballs, and Nutella and cheese toasties.
