Pop-up coffee bar Outcast Coffee has moved to a more central location; this time, they are in Bangsar’s Telawi area. Operating within the Johnson Tiles showroom next to McDonald’s, Outcast Coffee occupies a gorgeous space, providing a much needed relief from the bustling streets outside.
The ground floor level, featuring the coffee bar, is clean, minimal and white; while the upstairs space takes on a more Scandinavian vibe with wood accents and mod furnishings. They will be here for the next three months.
Outcast currently serve their own house blend (Brazilian, Sumatran and Ethiopian beans), which makes a very smooth and easy to drink coffee. You can have it as a long black, flat white, latte or cappuccino, and either hot or iced. Soy milk substitution is available upon request, and you can look forward to a coconut milk latte by the end of the month. If you’re feeling peckish, choose from a selection of homemade pies, spice-themed baked goods and cakes on the counter.
