In addition to a spread of international cuisines, the hotel's Chinese banquet chef, Chef Teh, has cooked up a storm with various special Chinese dishes. Among the offered are traditional favourites like braised black moss and sea cucumber, steamed pomfret with Teochew-style sauce, roast five-spice duck and stir-fried chilli crab. There are three buffet menus on rotation throughout the festive season, as well as a selection of yee sang with different types of fish.
Alternatively, the Great Prosperity Chinese New Year Set Menu (available until Feb 28, from RM1,800++) is a hearty eight-course meal with waived corkage and complimentary basic sound system provided.
