In the middle of bustling Kuala Lumpur lies Brasserie Fritz, a calm oasis lit by plenty of natural light thanks to floor-to-ceiling windows and a spacious interior. The elegant décor is reminiscent of a contemporary Parisian bistro, and the smell of freshly baked pastries and brewing coffee greets you as you step in through its doors.
Brasserie Fritz serves a menu that integrates global influences into traditional French cuisine, with dishes like Foie Gras Remoulade (a delicious starter of pan-seared foie gras and celeriac remoulade), Escargot & Prawn Risotto, Mussels à la Fritz, Beef Bourguignon and more. There’s also a seafood counter that displays fresh seasonal items flown in regularly from around the world, which are prepared in a variety of styles.
Every month, guests can look forward to regularly updated plat du jour sets. Although by definition ‘plat du jour’ means ‘dish of the day’, the chefs in Brasserie Fritz’s kitchen take things up a notch by creating a whole three-course menu with new dishes not available as standard à la carte offerings. The menu is updated monthly, and among the dishes that have been featured include marinated tiger prawn with tom yum cream, parmesan risotto with baby squid, lamb loin with celeriac purée and grilled asparagus, and a chocolate dacquoise.
