This March, head over to Concorde Hotel KL for a mouth-watering array of food.
Start your mornings off at Xroads Xpress with a hearty breakfast of fluffy banana berry pancakes; the set comes with coffee/tea/juice (RM14), available on 7.30-9.30am on weekdays. Meanwhile, lunch sees a pratha tandoori set or bacon-wrapped cheese stuffed meatball set (both RM27), available 11am-6pm on weekdays.
Over at Xin Cuisine, this month’s specialty is Dong Bo Rou, a traditional Chinese dish of braised pork belly (RM38; available lunch and dinner). The meat is cooked with spices like star anise, cinnamon, angelica, black sauce and more, and left to soak up the flavours for 90 minutes, resulting in tender melt-in-your-mouth pork belly that’s perfect with rice.
Meanwhile, it’s all about seafood this month at Melting Pot Café, where there will be a special seafood buffet (RM110; including daily buffet dinner) featuring only the freshest catches which include crabs, prawn and cray fish, among others. Diners can select their preferred cooking style, sauces and seasoning – kam heong, black bean, curry, ginger and spring onion – and the chefs will prepare it just for you at the live cooking stations. Enjoy your meal with the sounds of in-house Batak band, Begema 5, who performs daily (except Mondays).
Indulge in a sweet treat at Melting Pot Café and Xroads Xpress, where a decadent Nutella mousse cake (RM20 per slice) is available all day. The cake is made up of chocolate sponge base layered with Nutella mousse, and topped with fresh berries.
