July at Concorde Hotel KL sees an array of treats and delectable dishes for diners to enjoy.
At Xroads Xpress, start the day with some crunchy egg cheese toast. The set comes with a choice of coffee, tea or juice (RM14) and is available for breakfast on weekdays. For lunch, this month’s specials are raisin butter rice with grilled chicken and a Bolognese Oblong Sandwich, both presented by junior sous chef, Chef Azmeir Zaini.
Also at Xroads Xpress is a brand new teatime deals perfect for those who can’t get through the day without mid-day snacks. Local snacks are the highlight, and diners can choose from items like cekodok pisang, pisang goreng, sukun goreng and tauhu bergedil. The promo comes with an option of coffee, tea or teh Tarik to pair with your snacks. Available from 3-6pm on weekdays, one set is priced at RM 15 and comes with an option of coffee, tea or teh tarik.
This month, Xin Cuisine will be serving a delicious heart-warming dish of braised pork belly with fermented bean curd. Herbs and ingredients like star anise, ginger, garlic and sesame oil give the dish its robust flavours, while fermented red bean curd and soy bean paste elevate the flavours even more. The fragrant sauce makes this dish a perfect complement to steaming hot white rice.
Make sure you save some room for dessert. Melting Pot Café’s special for this month is a satisfyingly rich black forest moist cake. Creamy, chocolatey and filled with sweet dark pitted cherries layered between soft chocolate sponge, this dessert is a great chocolate indulgence.
