Publika will see a new health food bar specialising in açai bowls and smoothies come mid-January. One of the latest superfood trends, açai bowls are essentially a very thick smoothie made from açai berries (Cabana import theirs in pulp form from Brazil, the origin of this super berry) and served with a variety of toppings. They look very appealing, much like sorbet, because of the vibrant colours, and are packed with antioxidants, essential fatty acids and amino acids.
