Tucked away along a secluded row of shoplots in PJ’s Section 17, Bistro à Table adds a dash of European sophistication to a sleepy neighbourhood so often associated with cheap eats and hawker treats. The only permanent fixture on an ever-changing menu that is packed with local takes on modern French comfort food is Chef Isadora Chai’s Maple Syrup Coddled Egg with Fleur de Sel and Crouton Dust. Also a favourite among regulars is the special by-reservation-only degustation night that happens every first Monday of the month.
