Nope, Tous Les Jours doesn’t originate from Paris – more like South Korea. Since its first store in 1997, the bakery has travelled to the US, Vietnam, China and now, Bangsar. The space is located in possibly the most lucrative corner of Bangsar – two doors down from Sri Nirwana Maju and smack at the bottleneck tip of Telawi’s traffic congestion. The space is inviting and warm, with stacks and rolls of bread on low counters. Their signature is the soboro, sweet dough topped with crumbled butter cookies, but we suggest the kunnig arnaud, a sweet crisp pastry topped with sticky almonds. For the kids, get the light pink strawberry milk bread, a creamy soft roll that’s proven to be quite popular for the brand.
