Table 23 is fitted with things of the nostalgic/eccentric sense including (genuine) school chairs, pictureless frames, an antique deep sea diving helmet, a fading (but undeniably cool) Vespa and chalkboard scrawls of the menu’s signature items. Food wise, the café serves standard European fare, but upgraded with things like elegant salads and premium grade beef. English and French influences pepper the menu, and one of the signatures includes the braised beef cheek with zucchini. The beef is braised for six hours so it breaks with the gentle prodding of a fork, and not a single pinch of salt is added. Wine, beers and cocktails are available, making it a cute little nook for a pre-party/post-work drink.
