The designer behind Acme Bar & Coffee has created a stylish space in KLCC that shines in edge and quirk. The East-meets-West cuisine Melur & Thyme advocates is certainly intriguing (if not overdone) and shines in the form of a few novelty dishes. For instance, the Peking duck is served not with thin pancakes, but with sheets of roti jala. The duck satay and salmon masak lemak style bode the same promise; the restaurant endorses a concept they label as ‘Asian tapas’, in the form of little platters that fuse both Eastern and Western flavours.
