Time Out says

Michelle and Melissa of Damansara Uptown’s Fat Spoon have begun another venture, the Japanese-inspired Mei by Fat Spoon in Desa Sri Hartamas. The menu bears the trademark creativity of the sisters, with a Japanese touch evident in the use of ingredients such as shiso leaf, sashimi and mentaiko. Try the torched salmon, Hokkaido scallop and lychee tartare. Desserts-wise, patrons won’t miss the durian crème brulee at Fat Spoon too much as Mei by Fat Spoon’s green tea version with sesame ice cream is one must-try dish.
