Eight Gourmets Gala

Bandar Sunway’s new eight-in-one project brings together different dining options in a space that seats about 450. Helmed by the team behind Caffeinees, Niu Taste and Black Market, Eight Gourmets Gala (EGG) allows diners to mix and match food from different outlets to eat in a common seating area, much like an upgraded food court. All eight outlets have separate genres, but they’re all decked out tastefully for a sophisticated café feel. If you want to eat your lunch overlooking the Sunway Lagoon theme park, you can do just that. Here are the four outlets to look out for:

Confessions of Lady Laura
Dive into over-the-top desserts like triple chocolate Kahlua cheesecake and sizzling chocolate lava cake with butterscotch and salted caramel.

Hook & Cook
Pick live seafood from the tanks and have them grilled or poached. If oysters and Alaskan crab are routine at seafood bars, geoduck sure isn’t.

Hakka Crab
Classic flavours abound like salted egg with butter, kam heong and sweet and sour. But when in doubt, opt for the signature stir-fried crab.

Malt Berry Apes
Choose from 500 wine labels or a range of single malts, scotch and bourbon. Malt Berry Apes offers a private ten-seater room if you prefer your swig of whisky in private.
