Tokyo's ramen specialist Bankara sees expansion in Malaysia with a flagship outlet in Avenue K. Decked out like a samurai house complete with calligraphy murals, Bankara serves four styles of ramen: Signature ramen in the style of Tokyo, Hakata-style tonkotsu ramen, Sapporo-style miso ramen, and tsukemen. The signature ramen in particular is a decadent affair, gleaming with blobs of pork fat in a rich broth.
