Ah Keong's Ais Kacang Stall

Colourful and sugary – the shaved ice treat at this mom n’ pop stall is always busy on a hot day. The ice hides a mix of the usual goodies – black cincau cubes, kidney beans, yellow corn and green cendol. Ice-that-melts-on-the-tongue topped with rose and gula Melaka syrup sounds easy to do but this innocuous stall has achieved what few have: a cult-like adoration with anyone that has ever eaten here.
