Fête de la Musique or World Music Day premiered in Paris in 1982 with the goal of bringing people out of their homes and onto the streets to enjoy live music. Today, the world’s largest free music festival is celebrated in over 700 cities 120 countries. The Malaysian edition is organised by Alliance Française, and there will be plenty of good live music by both French and Malaysian bands and musicians as well as a French market with lots of food and drinks. This year's edition sees Télépopmusik and Octave Mécanique alongside our very own RYÖT JONES, Beverly Matujal, Kaya and more.
