The big controversy that is KLIA2 is now open, and with it a new Tune Hotel. This is the biggest Tune Hotel yet, boasting 400 guest rooms, with direct access to the terminal via a covered walkway and link bridge, as well as to the gateway@klia2 shopping mall.
The hotel lobby, an unusually stylish and contemporary design for a Tune Hotel, features an open-air courtyard lounge, a 24-hour restaurant and a casual seating area with free WiFi. For added convenience, the hotel has also set up a counter providing overland transportation services, two AirAsia self check-in kiosks and up-to-date flight information displays.
In the rooms, besides the regular mod-cons like the bed and attached shower, you’ll also find a writing table, a luggage platform and a 32-inch flat-screen TV. There’s a ‘Refresher Package’ if you just want a quick nap or a hot shower while waiting out your long transit. These short stays are available daily between 9am to 6pm, but for walk-ins only.
