Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur has brought together an array of celebrity mixologists and award-winning culinarians from Korea for a week of exclusive events.
On September 6, Executive Sous Chef Jaeyoung (John) Oh from Four Seasons Hotel Seoul will present the Korean Chef’s Table a one-night-only signature four-course menu at Curate. Featured specialties are dishes such as grilled galbi (marinated wagyu beef), clear fish dumpling soup, and Korean crepe that can be paired beautifully with fine soju. The course is RM 208 per person with an additional RM 80 with free flow soju
The Korean Weekend Brunch from September 7 - 8 is showcasing the vibrancy of Korean food. Prepared by Chef John, savour authentic dishes such as jabchae (royal stir-fried glass noodles and vegetables) and bibimbap (mixed rice with vegetables and egg), or venture into a more exotic spread of saengseon Iyangnyeomgu-i (marinated roasted fish with chili soy sauce) and haemul pajeon (seafood and green onion pancake). The brunch is priced at RM 210 nett for brunch only, RM 348 nett with free flow cocktails and wine (with one glass of welcome champagne) or RM 488 with free flow champagne. Kids aged 5 and older can eat and drink for RM 105 nett.
Catch the Female Bartenders Battle on September 5 and 6. Bar Trigona welcomes two Korean women bartenders, one of them is Sophia Kang from Singapore’s Manhattan Bar and Dew Choi, Senior Bartender at Charles H. at Four Seasons Hotel Seoul. Sip and review cocktails at the hottest mixology battleground in town.
You wouldn't want to miss Charles H. Takeover at Bar Trigona on September 7. There will be a bespoke cocktail menu complemented by a selection of tapas including ddeok-galb (grilled soy sauce marinated short rib patties) and chamchi gimbap (Korean rice roll with tuna). The cocktails will be made by Head Bartender Keith Motsi and his Senior Bartender Dew Choi.
From now until September 8, The Lounge is offering a Korean Set Menu and Buffet by Chef John. Guests can try these delicious creations at a pop-up Korean counter during the weekday lunch buffet and nightly dinner buffet at Curate.
