Director Tunku Mona Riza’s ‘Redha’, a film about a father who comes to terms with his son’s autism, has been selected as Malaysia’s official entry to compete for the Best Foreign Language Film category at the 89th Academy Awards on February 26 next year. ‘Redha’ is the fourth film to be sent for consideration by the Oscars committee after ‘Puteri Gunung Ledang’ (Saw Teong Hin, 2005), ‘Bunohan’ (Dain Said, 2013), and 'Lelaki Harapan Dunia' (Liew Seng Tat, 2015).
