AEON in Mid Valley Megamall has just opened a brand new food street serving local and Japanese dishes – all at food court prices. But this particular stall, Sukiya Tokyo Bowls & Noodles, could just be offering the cheapest buka puasa deal in town. With any à la carte main dish ordered from 6pm to 10pm, you can add on just RM10 for free flow karaage (Japanese fried chicken) and soft drinks.
Here, you could get a gyudon beef bowl or chicken ramen for only RM9.40. This means you could have a Japanese rice or noodle bowl with free flow fried chicken and soft drink for less than RM20! It’s a steal considering how much the buka puasa buffets charge nowadays (mostly above RM100). There are more substantial main dishes available as well, such as the three-cheese gyudon (RM11.40) and the salmon sushi don (RM15.90).
It's not the best, but with decent food at this pricing, you can’t complain much.
