There are over 500 bottles of whisky on offer at the fittingly named Whisky House. It’s a big range, but it’s likely you won’t have seen many of them before. The bar doesn’t focus on a particular country or region, nor is it guided by awards, brands or rarity; instead, its ethos is an enthusiasm to experience an extensive range of single malt whiskies and lesser-known bottles from all corners of the world without prejudice. To that end, there are exotic Japanese whiskies, limited-edition bottles of Scottish malts, and a wide variety of bottles from Canada, India, Taiwan and beyond. You’ll also find favourites such as Dalmore, Glenlivet and Singleton on the menu – with enticing bundle promotions available throughout the year.

Perched on the 47th floor of TSLAW Tower, the bar boasts picture-perfect views from one of Kuala Lumpur’s most iconic landmarks, plus comfortable seating – think plush red velvet banquettes – and pumps out classic tunes from the 50s, 60s and 70s. It’s perfect for catch-ups and conversations (and to close that all-important business deal). For larger groups, you can book out Whisky House for birthdays, celebrations, events and the like; there are private rooms and ample space to accommodate up to 100 guests with options for décor and menu.
Every evening, expect live performances from 6pm to midnight where you can sway along to the music while soaking in stunning rooftop views of KL. There are also plenty of drinking options other than whisky, including champagne, cognac, armagnac and other brandies, rums, grappa, gin, vodka, tequila and mezcal, vermouth, wines, and crafted cocktails.
