The idea for this minimalist cool arts centre and multi-use event space was formed in 2011 and is now a venue for exhibitions, events and performances. The building was originally an old Dutch godown near St. John’s cathedral in the city centre. It has enjoyed previous fame (or infamy, depending on how you look at it) as the Boom Boom Room, KL’s top cabaret club during the 80s. The building is now divided into two areas – the Brick Annexe (original building) and the Concrete Annexe – to cater to the many activities and events planned.
