Not many know this but before becoming a tourist hub, Central Market was once a busy wet market in the heart of the city. Before the market was closed down over 30 years ago, Hari Ho got to know the vendors and their stories. This exhibition is a showcase of monochromatic portraits of these vendors taken by Hari. The photos were initially taken in color, but Hari decided to present them in black and white as he feels it’ll provide more depth and humanity to the subjects.
